Have you ever heard about the welsh band Budgie?

Budgie was a hard rock band form the late 60-s that have had an influence on a lot of other bands. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budgie_(band)  I first became aware of the band, about 10 years ago, when I was watching some music documentary. But when I started listening to them, it sounded quite familiar.

This is their song «Breadfan» from 1973, that doesn’t actually have a lot to do with bread, but used bread as a slang for money.

One of the bands that tells about the impact Budgie has had on them, are Metallica, and they covered « Breadfan» on the b- side to their single « Eye of the beholder» in 1988 .
