Defend your right to stay weird!

I guess most of us, sometimes, or at least at some point of our life, feel like we are living on another planet, than most people.

This is really not a problem if the people that surrounds you, have an interrest for aliens, or are one themselves, but if you assume they all come from the same planet, and you feel like you are the only weird ( or unike) one, it could make you feel unconnected with the others.

If you are a little different and tries to fit in, it may be temting to be more like them, but if you are trying to hard, it probably could do you more harm than good. You have to accept yourself, to love yourself, and you have to accept yourself to accept others.  So be open with your « weirdness» , to make the other weirdos, that is not as strong as you, show more of their personality.

Luckily, most people have at least a few things in common, and when you grow up, you have more things in common with your more mainstream fellows, than you have in your younger years. As a grown up, I can talk to my colleagues about work, kids, food, gardening, clothing,  nature related themes, some music and other things you need in your daily life.

 Once in a while, I get lucky and run into other grown up females, that have interest for the things I like, - as the one I ran into at a birthday arrangement for a 6 year old, were we suddenly found ourselves talking about old computergames and heavy metal, and she was like: This was really fun, I haven’t had an conversation about those topics for several years!


There are some things I can’t talk to my colleagues about (or any female around here), because they simply don’t understand the thing and that’s probably one of the reasons I feel the need to express myself  in this blog.

I easily get bored of, and dont watch shows like:  « the voice» , «idol» , « strictly come dancing» , I don’t follow the sports on TV - and this actually means, that I don’t have so much to say about the themes that seems to be the topics for a lot of females around my age.

I can’t really say things like this, and expect them to be on the same line: ( If i did,I probably should get a camera with me, to catch the moment 🤣)

 Hey, listen to this! - I found a new favourite song. which makes me feel really happy, it is called « Likeim» ( corpse smell) of Carpathian forest. It has the kind of punk sound, that I really like, and there is a sound there, that reminds me of the old Amiga game « Gods» . What do you think?
