Waiting for the apocalypse II
I just had to make another post about the situation with the Coronavirus.
Norway is having a lockdown https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8104969/Norway-strongest-peacetime-measures-coronavirus-spreads.html
Today all educational institutions and kindergardens in the country were declared closed, from 18.00 until 26 March. Restaurants will be closed, and all sports and cultural events is banned.
When it comes to kindergardens/daycare, they will still be open to children who have parents in positions that are important to society in these times, such as those working in health services.
This means that I who work in kindergarten, probably must be working a little, while my youngest kid, cant be in her kindergarten. - Furtunately, this is not a problem, as my better half is at home, because there is little work for sound technicians, in these times. - And he would have to be at home anyway, to take care of our second youngest, who cant be at school.
In times like this I am very lucky to live in my part of the world, where I still will be getting my salary, even if I should be prevented from work, caused by the lockdown at my work (at least if you are employed and not self-employed). My spouse are self-employed, so he is kind of lucky to have me.
I am also very happy to live in rural Norway, and that we have a lot of space. We live idyllically, on an old small farm by the fjord, and even if we should be so unlucky to get quarantine, we would still have the opportunity to ski, play outdoors, do incidental work around the property and we could even go fishing or walking in the mountainside.
As a kindergarten teacher, I have learned the kids to wash their hands properly, so now I have found you a handwashing-song. In these times I thought the most proper style of music, was some nice doom from Candlemass. I’ll put the music under the instructions, and then we all could have a sing-along.
Bye folks
