.....but:
Yesterday I was watching a music documentary of an ikon in rock, and suddenly it strucked me that almost all female musicians that I admired in rock/metal, as a kid, have had lots of plastic surgery to look younger.
This actually made me a bit sad, and I asked myself some questions:
Why shouldnt a female rocker allow her self to become naturally wrinkled - and even a little bit ugly, as long as their musical abilities and power, still shows that they have something to give?
Do they have something to learn from a lot of the men in the same industry?
People still went to shows with Motorhead, AcDc, Kiss, Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Slayer, Black Sabbath etc.. and bought their records, after they had their wrinkles and warts, and lost some hair. Metal has always been full of « not that good looking dudes» - but we still love them, and what they do.
